My name is Amadou Ba. I run PIXEWORK, a communication studio in Dakar. For months, I have been building KoraCut with my own means.
Around me, many people have stories to tell and a modest computer to tell them with. Professional software is expensive, and many tools struggle on a four-core laptop. I want a tool that runs on that machine, complete, and that asks nothing in return.
The app will always be free. The agents will be on subscription, because their computing costs money on every edit. But until they open, there is a long way to go. That is where your help counts.

Building for Windows and Linux
Today, KoraCut compiles on a Mac. For Windows and Linux to get the same app, it takes machines and build time.

Modest test machines
A four-core laptop with 8 GB, an old PC running Linux: that is where KoraCut has to run without lag, so that is where it has to be tested.

Development time
Every module, every fix, every page of documentation. Time taken from client projects.

The mobile version
A separate Android and iOS app, designed for the phone. It is in development.
